He takes inspiration from the things around him, exploring how familiar forms can be approached and applied differently. Making is central to the process, with materials and manufacturing helping to shape the final outcome.
Based in North Wales, Guto graduated in Furniture and Product Design from Nottingham Trent University. His experience includes working with Studio Phil Procter in Rotterdam, Foster + Partners and Viaduct Furniture in London, and Studio Calen Knauf in Vancouver.
