1282 Chair

The 1282 Chair is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Welsh stick chair, exploring how historical forms can inform modern design. Its high, curved arms are drawn from Welsh stick chair typologies, adapted to provide a considered contemporary sitting experience. Designed primarily for indoor use. Suitable for occasional outdoor use, although exposure to rain, moisture and changing weather conditions may cause the surface to develop natural marks or changes in appearance over time. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap when required. Dry thoroughly after cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners and materials that could scratch the surface.

Each piece is handmade and made to order. Slight variations in finish, texture and appearance are natural characteristics of the making process.

As each piece is made specifically to order, returns and refunds are not accepted unless the item arrives faulty or damaged. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs so we can arrange a suitable solution.
