Project Description
The 1282 Chair is a contemporary interpretation of the Welsh stick chair, exploring how traditional forms can inform modern design. Inspired by its characteristic high, curved arms, the chair combines these historic proportions with modern ergonomics and stainless steel construction.
The project considers how overlooked traditions, materials and processes can be reinterpreted through contemporary furniture.
